Quite different to our usual projects, our work here with MSC involved over 700m² of artificial green wall panels, framing one of the large reception areas in the cruise ship. With constant varying climates as it cruises the seas, low light levels and difficulty in aligning our maintenance schedules with their routine, the best solution for our partners was an artificial green wall system.
Each panel is 1m², and is fixed back to the walls using our aluminium top hat build-up system (also used for many of our natural living wall projects).
Whilst this solution does not offer the environmental benefits that using natural soil and real plants does, the visual impact is guaranteed, and gives the guests a welcomed view of green when out at sea.
