Supporting habitat creation

Now one of many SEGRO sites we’ve worked on, our work at Bestobell Road involved two square living walls, totalling 54m2.  Designed to provide maximum contrast against SEGRO’s recognisable red O, these two features also provide important alternative ecological habitats in an area consisting mostly of hardscape.

Whilst the soil provides a home for burrowing insects such as the solitary bee and other important invertebrates, the variety of plant species provide seed and fodder for local wildlife and support local pollination.
