Project Background

Manchester Gin’s new home, ‘Three Little Words’ sits in the heart of the city in six Grade 2 listed railway arches.  Daniel James Interiors worked on converting the space which accentuates the original detail of the architecture, whilst focusing on modern contemporary design.  This is now one of Manchester’s must-visit iconic venues.

Design centrepiece

Creating the living wall as a design centrepiece was a great challenge for the team, curating a plant palette that not only would thrive in the environment, but fitted in with the aesthetics too.

Lighting for the living wall

The lighting was another important part, ensuring that the plants have the correct lighting levels to flourish and making the lush greenery pop with colour in the low lighting of the restaurant.
